A relaxed photoshoot that celebrates your love story before the big day. I’ll be there to capture your love on film, and help you get comfortable with being photographed! This package starts with 2 rolls, but a 3rd can be added on.

Additional Details

Each package, unless specified, includes 2 rolls of 30 images of film.

We will meet at the location of your choice, in southeastern Wisconsin, we can stay home, walk around the block, or check out a new place- let’s go where you feel your best! If you need suggestions, or spontaneity- leave it up to me.
For places outside of southeast Wisconsin, there may be additional travel costs.

All images will be sent digitally, with the options for your images to be printed in 4×6 and mailed to you.

To keep everything safe, I will store your negatives for 2 years after your photoshoot in a dry, safe location.

If you see or think of something not listed, we can talk about it during our preplanning call!

-Because my photos are only taken on film, there is the possibility that some may not turn out correctly, or as hoped, and while thats the beauty of this medium, it’s also the reality. I do ensure that I drop my film off at a reputable developer, and photos are sent back to you in timely manner. Please reach out with any questions regarding my process before your photoshoot.-

About Me

Hello!

I’m Gretchen! A film photographer based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

I love all the little things in life: handwritten letters, cats, my friends engagement rings, spending time with friends, and the moments that make me stop and think, I wish I could be here forever. Film photographs make me feel like I am sitting on my grandma’s couch looking through her pictures, and this is my way to hold onto the magical moments of life.

My goal as your photographer is to capture your moments, big and small, exactly as they feel; the in-between moments, and the little details you might not notice until later. Life doesn’t always happen the way we expect or plan, that’s part of what makes it so beautiful. I want your photos to feel like you!

One of my favorite things about shooting film is the journey. From looking through the view finder, then sending the film off to be developed, and finally getting to see those images come to life, there’s something so special about the entire process. Film reminds me to slow down, be intentional, and truly stay in the moment. However, sending my pictures back to you is my absolute favorite part of the process!

When I’m not behind my camera, you can usually find me knitting, buying more books than I can possibly keep up with, needlepointing, or taking a walk along Lake Michigan with my husband.
